UNORDERED LISTS

by Florence W Deems

EXAMPLES:

BULLET LISTS:

The default setting for most browsers will show a "bullet" or solid circle for each list item. However, you can also specify them as "disc" as in <ul type="disc"> or "circle" as in <ul type="circle">

  • Apples
  • Peaches
  • Bananas

Note: the list will be single-spaced, unless you use two (or more) line-break tags (<br>) after each </li> tag.

CIRCLE LISTS:

Notice the open centers, as opposed to the closed circles called "bullets." Scroll down to the link for "Colored Lists" to learn how to do this.

  • Apples
  • Peaches
  • Bananas

Note: the list will be single-spaced, unless you use two (or more) line-break tags (<br>) after each </li> tag.

SQUARE LISTS:

These squares are solid.

  • Apples
  • Peaches
  • Bananas

Note: the list will be single-spaced, unless you use two (or more) line-break tags (<br>) after each </li> tag.
