CONVERTING COLOR IMAGES
TO MONOCHROME GRAY

Below are 9 ways that I've discovered will convert a colored image to a monochromatic gray. So take the image of your choice to your favorite Image Magick and try one or more of these methods.

NOTES:
- Colormap: Check the ones listed.
- Output: Image Type - all images are Output as Truecolor, except for Grayshade and Bilevel.
- Output: Channel - all images are Output with the default All Channel except for the Red, Green and Blue Channel images.
- Output: all images are Output with Interlace Line, except for Grayshade and Bilevel. These two are Output as Interlace Plane. Plane is necessary here to prevent the webby browser from pixelating and scrambling certain images.
