PRACTICE RECTANGLES
- Make a bg about 300x300. Any color or pattern.
- Use the point and click method to determine where you want to draw at least 3 rectangles. They can be borders or overlapping scattered inside the bg area. Write down the 2 sets of numbers you'll need for each, plus the colors and stroke widths.
- Click on Draw, select Rectangles from the Primitives.
- Type in the 2 sets of numbers for the first rectangle. Select Stroke and/or Fill Colors and Stroke Width. If you want to play with the Options, do so and have fun with them. Click on Draw.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have drawn all the Rectangles. Output as a jpeg, single file, Image Type = Truecolor; Interlace - Line; Quality = whatever.
- Save in your File Manager. Name it Rect1.jpg. Or something similar.
FAUX LINES
- Choose an image to decorate using the Faux Lines tute. Follow directions carefully. If you want to try the Skews under Options, please do so, but they are not required.
- When you have the draw the way you want it, Output and save to your File Manager. Name this image Rect2.jpg. Or something similar.
DECORATE, USING RECTANGLES
- Choose an image that you can decorate or frame using Rectangles.
- Make the Draw(s). Output and save to your File Manager. Name it something like Rect3.jpg.
- As we have been doing, post your page with the images and coords, or post the individual images with their coords in PeeGee's.
Remember: We are limited only in our imaginations and creativity.
