OPTIONS FOR LINES HOMEWORK TRANSLATE - SCALE SKEW - ROTATE
For each exercise, use a 200x200 white xc background or an image of your choice. This homework is simple. First, practice using these four Options with Lines. Links to these tutes are below. Some of you will find that only one or two of these really give effects with Lines that you'd want to use. With this in mind, the Homework is to make ONE image (white xc background, or use a real image), using ONE of these Options. Write down the coords you started with, which will be the default settings. Then Draw additional Lines, changing only the settings in that one Option. Output as a jpeg and save. Name it "Lines-SkewY.jpg" or "Lines-Rotate.jpg" or "Lines-Scale.jpg" or "Lines-Translate.jpg" When you have finished the image, post it at PeeGee's NG. Also post the settings you used. Follow the posting protocol you have been using for previous lessons. Most of all, have fun doing these. NOTE: If Scale and/or Translate seem hard to understand, they are. I had a hard time trying to explain them. So don't sweat it. If you find them frustrating, ignore them and concentrate on Skew and Rotate.
