| To make text look 3-dimensional, it's necessary to do a minimum of 2 annotates. The first one usually will use both the Fill (FC)and Stroke (SC) colors. The 2nd annotate can be the same or use either just the Stroke color or the Fill color. The next secret in making text look 3-dimensional is in the offsets. For the examples below, the offsets and other info are given below each image.
Offsets: how much to offset for the 2nd annotate really depends on the Point Size: for size 24, usually a +1+1 or -1-1 offset from the first offset, and a Stroke Width of 1 is sufficient. When the size approaches 50 or more, then offsets of +2+2 or -2-2 and a Stroke Width of 2-3 will be necessary. Fonts: Use fonts that have broad strokes for a defined fill area. BOTH TIMES:
